Summer 2012

This summer has been very different from summer's past.
 Usually , we host summer students stay in town all summer. The difference with this  summer, is that before our summer began , Harm lost his job.
 He had a great job at a large insurance Co. full benefits, good pay. We were finally getting out of the sea of debt created by moving , schooling and living circumstances of the past. A full time student supplemented our income , and life was getting comfortable. Do you see it coming? lol 
 Then the secure job Harm had took a turn and decided that his department wasn't needed, and there was no where for them to put him. Its ok that he won an excellence award of the year IStar . That he clocked in many overtime ours unpaid, that he worked the job of 2 -3 people weekly. Companies restructure. Jobs end. Poop happens.
He got a small settlement. So,  after years of us never taking a vacation, never going anywhere fun(except when we had awesome Holland visitor's)
We decided to take off to My home town of Thunder Bay to visit close friends and Family. to be continued.....

I'm still trying to figure this blogging thing out.I used to have a blog site long ago, that I faithfully blogged everything at , and enjoyed thoroughly, until the site closed and I lost everything!! I was devastated. So as it goes now , I am Leary about saying so much on here, but will give it another shot. Any tips on how to use this would be AWESOME!! :))
